4 Levels of A Man's Needs

    

And so I had a little discussion with this man I have so much respect for. And in course of our discussion he broke down the needs of men from his wealth of knowledge and observations and it was breath taking I swear! 

Sex

It is glaring that most young men(Male Adolescents) between ages 14-20 crave for sex with everything in them.

The desire for relationships and sex related affairs, means the world to them and they tend to invest most of their time and energy in heterosexual relationships. 

 But funny enough, It's actually not their fault, it's just the biological make-up of male children especially during their early adulthood stages.

 A study in Developmental psychology and an understanding of how the pubertal system works will give you an insight why they act this way.

Money

*For the swag to complete, men gats hold small box for pocket to take follow up the parole (slang)*. 

Please do not mind those slangs, but honestly, it comes to a point when money is all you dream of to help accomplish those dreams you've had while growing up.

This desire exposes you to the world of Work. Where you have to sweat it out to make the money, to fulfil your manly responsibilities to significant others. This responsibility mindset pushes you beyond your comfort zone. 

At this point the responsibility to own your family sets in. This stage is peculiar to men around 25-35 years. 

Power

The 3rd stage of a man's need is POWER. There's a degree of influence that comes with power.

 Everything answers to you without hesitation. 

The dream of most men is to be powerful beyond their peers. 

This is one reason Nigeria Politicians would rather die than not be in power. And this is why Politics has become a career in Nigeria. 

It's usually between men of age 40 - early 50's.

 It's toxic in nature. A man that handles power properly, transcends to the final stage, which is............

Control

This can be likened to what Abraham Maslow's refers to as self actualization. Here you exert a level of influence and power that is beyond the ordinary. 

The point were your name opens even the toughest door. The point were systems are programmed to suit your desires. 

The point where it seems you are above the law. Realistically speaking, some individuals are above the law, don't worry I won't call names. 

This isn't only peculiar to politicians, but in every endeavour of man. 

It's prone to men of Ages 60 and above. 

Every man by default goes through these 4 phases directly or indirectly.
